Sharon McKeown
Sharon is a visual artist based in Belfast. Her work focuses on collage through a range of mixed media. Working semi-abstractly, she layers successive ideas using the positives and negatives of collage creating an oneirically developing narrative. Nature and the human figure are recurrent in her work. While visually exploring the interior and exterior landscape she explores the idea of series through repetition of shape and form. Sharon is currently working towards developing and assembling a broad collection of mixed media works that are all underpinned by a simultaneous narrative.
Sharon McKeown (b.1994, N.Ireland) graduated from Ulster University, Belfast (2018) with a BFA(Hons) in painting.
